WHAT SETS US APART

Intensive weekly training classes are open only to company members.

All classes offered are mandatory, resulting in a serious, well-rounded dancer and all classes are taught by dedicated and innovative teachers.

All classes offered are open with no set syllabus, which results in students being well versed in various styles and techniques.  KTDP ballet classes will NOT be leading towards examinations, as we stress the importance of learning a variety of styles and exercises on a weekly basis.

However, for students who are interested in taking any syllabus examinations, we will be offering private and semi-private classes for that specific purpose.

Emphasis on the importance of team building, co-operation, and peer support.

Focus on striving for excellence as an elite performance AND competitive team. The company normally attends four to five competitions per year.

Offers additional unique performance experiences such as festivals, openings, and fundraisers. There are also opportunities to perform student choreographed works.

The company will be part of an education outreach program working closely with schools in the community to inform, teach and inspire.

Workshops are offered during the year with exciting guest teachers in dance,  theatre and voice.  We will also be conducting  seminars that expose students to other aspects of dance such as auditioning, nutrition, teaching, physiotherapy,  costume and set construction, etc.

Students will be exposed to professional dance and theatre productions throughout the year.
