Stretch classes offer the opportunity to slowly and gently release tense, tight muscles and achieve a level of flexibility that will enhance the student's technical abilities. Flexibility is one of the greatest attributes a dancer can posses. Keeping the muscles pliable and elastic is vital for the execution of proper technique in all forms of dance and often helps to prevent injury. During this class students will work close to the floor participating in leg, arm, feet and core stretching exercises, balancing postures, hip openers, and back bending.
